Booking fee

A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure all appointments. The remaining balance is paid on arrival.

Booking details required

Once an available appointment spot and time has been found, your full name, date of birth, phone number and email address will be required to enter your booking into the booking system and confirm your appointment details.

Consent & consultation forms

For skin penetration and advanced cosmetic treatments, clients will be asked to complete a consent form and consultation form at the appointment before treatment begins. This may apply to services such as permanent makeup, microneedling, inkless stretch mark rejuvenation, Melanin Care and other treatments where a skin assessment and medical suitability check are required.

Please answer all consultation questions honestly, including information about allergies, medications, pregnancy, breastfeeding, skin conditions, recent procedures and any health concerns. Kaiu Beauty Studio may refuse or postpone treatment if it is not safe or suitable on the day.

Rescheduling

A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to reschedule an appointment. Rescheduling with less than 24 hours notice may result in forfeiture of the booking fee.

Late arrival

A 30-minute grace period may be allowed depending on the service and the day’s schedule. Clients arriving more than 30 minutes late may need to shorten, reschedule or forfeit the appointment.

Same-day cancellation & change of mind

No same-day cancellation, no no-shows and no last-minute change of mind. Booking fees are non-refundable and may be forfeited in these situations.

Refunds

Due to the nature of cosmetic and beauty treatments, no refunds are provided for completed services. Results vary between individuals and multiple sessions may be needed.

• Afterpay with 6% merchant surcharge

Council-approved skin penetration

Kaiu Beauty Studio is council-approved for skin penetration services. Disposable items are used where required, and reusable tools are sterilised according to hygiene standards to support a clean and safe treatment environment.

Product Returns & Refunds

Products may be returned within 30 days of purchase provided the product remains sealed, unopened, unused and in its original packaging.

For hygiene and safety reasons, opened or used products cannot be returned or refunded.

Returns or replacements will only be accepted where the product packaging was damaged prior to dispatch from Kaiu Beauty Studio. Any damage occurring during delivery must be claimed directly through Australia Post and not through Kaiu Beauty Studio.

Change-of-mind returns are not accepted once the product packaging has been opened. Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method.

Treatment suitability

Kaiu Beauty Studio may refuse treatment if it is deemed unsafe, unsuitable, or if contraindications are present.
