How do I book an appointment?
Message Kaiu Beauty Studio via WhatsApp or Instagram DM with your name, preferred treatment and available days. Appointments are by appointment only.
Can you help me choose the right treatment?
Yes. You can send clear photos or videos where suitable and explain your concerns. Yuka can recommend a treatment before booking.
Do you offer package prices?
Yes. Packages are available for selected treatments including microneedling and skin programs. Please WhatsApp for the complete pricelist and treatment details.
What payment methods do you accept?
Cash, bank transfer, card payments with a 1.8% merchant fee, and Afterpay with a 6% merchant surcharge.
What is your rescheduling policy?
A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to reschedule. Same-day cancellations, no-shows and last-minute changes of mind may forfeit the booking fee.
What is the late grace period?
There is a 30-minute late grace period. If you arrive more than 30 minutes late, the appointment may need to be shortened or rescheduled depending on availability.
How many PMU sessions do I need?
PMU lips and brows usually need 2 sessions. The second session helps perfect colour, shape and retention after healing.
Can I have PMU while pregnant or breastfeeding?
Permanent makeup is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding because hormones may affect sensitivity, healing and pigment retention.
Should I avoid caffeine and alcohol before PMU?
Yes. Caffeine and alcohol may increase sensitivity, bleeding and swelling. Avoid them before your appointment for better comfort and healed results.
How many microneedling sessions do I need?
It depends on your skin condition and goals. Multiple sessions are usually recommended for acne scars, pores, texture and long-term skin improvement.
What is Salmon DNA microneedling?
Salmon DNA microneedling supports hydration, skin repair, smoother texture and a healthier-looking complexion.
What is Acne Stem Cell microneedling?
Acne Stem Cell microneedling is designed for acne-prone or damaged skin and may help improve congestion, texture and acne scarring over multiple sessions.
What is Melanin Care?
Melanin Care is a no needle, no pigment treatment using serum essence and multiple colour LED light to help remove, heal and brighten pigmented skin layers. Aftercare cream and an instruction card are included.
What areas can Melanin Care treat?
Treatment areas may include lips, areola/nipple, armpit, Y-zone, vulva/Ms. V, buttocks, elbows and knees. Consultation is recommended before booking.
Does Melanin Care have downtime?
Downtime is usually minimal, but aftercare is still important. Avoid friction, harsh products, exfoliation and heavy sweating during early healing.
Why are multiple sessions sometimes needed?
Skin results build gradually. Skin type, pigmentation depth, hormones, friction, aftercare, sun exposure and natural healing response can all affect results.
What causes acne, blackheads and whiteheads?
They happen when pores become clogged with oil, dead skin cells and sometimes bacteria. Professional treatments may help improve congestion and texture over time.
Do you provide aftercare instructions?
Yes. Treatment-specific aftercare instructions are provided. Some services also include an aftercare kit, card, pouch or cream depending on the treatment.
Is Kaiu Beauty Studio council-approved for skin penetration services?
Yes. Kaiu Beauty Studio is council-approved for skin penetration services. Disposable items are used where required, reusable tools are sterilised, and hygiene procedures are followed to support client safety.
How do I find the studio?
Kaiu Beauty Studio is located at Suite 18, Level 6, 650 George Street, Sydney NSW 2000. The entrance door is located on the main George Street, next to MIXUE Ice Cream at World Square Tower. It is approximately a 3-minute walk from Town Hall Station.
